授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives |
This one-term, twice-a-week required class helps first-year students learn how to improve their English language communication skills to become a more competent public speaker and writer. Overall Objectives 1. To help students to develop a basic knowledge of the skills required for organizing a speech/presentation and speech writing skills 2. To give students maximum opportunities to develop their speech/presentation delivery and speech writing skills 3. To build student confidence in speech/presentation communication in small and larger group contexts |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course |
This class will be conducted in English, using Zoom. Dokkyo's Manaba and WebMail platforms will be used for handouts, homework submissions, and communication.Students will need access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone to join the online class. Handouts will be uploaded to Manaba each week, and students may need to print out the handouts for use in online Zoom class. It's possible that other online platforms will be used for practice activities. Details will be provided in class. | ||||||||||
