授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	This is a one-semester-long required course for first-year students (LWI-spring semester, LWIIfall semester). Overall Objectives In this course, students are expected to develop their overall English language skills while learning about specific topics. The course is called, “workshop” because it is a combination of lectures by instructors and activities in which students are actively engaged in interaction with classmates and the material.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Classes will be conducted entirely online, utilizing a variety of different learning management tools and communication platforms. These may include PortaⅡ, Zoom or Webex.
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students will prepare for classes through review and revision of lecture notes, study of vocabulary, and other associated homework assignments.
