授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This a one-semester, semi-elective course where the use of film and theatre and its analysis is central to the work undertaken in the classroom. Further, there will be opportunities for group discussion, practical workshops and presentations allowing the student to improve self-confidence and team work. Such a course will help sharpen the students listening, critical thinking and comprehension skills. Depending on the students level, English sub-titles (or no sub-titles) will be used. Overall Objectives: 1. To provide the students with an introduction to a range of film genres 2. To expose the student to a range of International accents, regional dialects, non-verbal communication and colloquial language 3. To enhance the student’s critical thinking through discussion |

Read handouts other material shown in class and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. After class, students are required to do all homework tasks set. Students can expect to spend about 90 minutes per week in preparation |
