授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives |
International migration is one of the central subjects in the academic discipline of global studies. By examining this particular subject from various perspectives, the course attempts to understand international migration, which serves as an essential factor in explaining and understanding the phenomenon of globalization today. In the fall semester, the focus will be placed on the problems and issues associated with the study of international migration, along with various discussion related to the future of international migration. Each class will be conducted using the textbook indicated below. Students are expected to be able to summarize designated paragraphs from the textbook and also engage in discussions based on various topics related to the subject suggested by the instructor. |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course |
This course is taught in English. This semester, Porta II and University Web-Mail System will be used as the essential tools of communication. In addition, classes will be conducted using Zoom. Students are expected to prepare an appropriate Internet environment to use these tools constantly. In terms of the use of Zoom, further details will be provided by the instructor before the first class through Porta II. |

Students are expected to prepare for each class by reviewing lecture and class discussion notes. Each week, new instructions will be given by the instructor.
