授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This is an introductory academic writing course for first-year students. Students should be taught how to write a unified, coherent paragraph, which is the basic unit of composition common to most forms of academic, business, professional, and general-purpose writing in English. Developing fluency and well-structured paragraphs is the main focus of this course. However, students in Group C should also practice writing for accuracy at the same time. Overall Objectives 1. To provide an overview of what constitutes a ‘good’ paragraph 2. To learn how to properly format a typed paragraph 3. To help students write about themselves and their experiences 4. To help students write clear, coherent and properly-structured paragraphs 5. To help students analyze and revise their writing |
