授業の目的?内容
/Course Objectives
This is an introductory academic writing course for first-year students. Students should be taught
how to write a unified, coherent paragraph, which is the basic unit of composition common to most forms of academic, business, professional, and general-purpose writing in English.
Developing fluency and well-structured paragraphs is the main focus of this course. However, students in Group C should also practice writing for accuracy at the same time.
Overall Objectives
1. To provide an overview of what constitutes a ‘good’ paragraph
2. To learn how to properly format a typed paragraph
3. To help students write about themselves and their experiences
4. To help students write clear, coherent and properly-structured paragraphs
5. To help students analyze and revise their writing

/Teaching method and Attention the course
The class will have writing drills, activities, and assignments (including constant feedback) on their written work.

/Before After Study
All students are expected to:
- Review and prepare for the class.
- Complete writing assignments by the date due.
- Review all lesson work.
- Set aside 30 minutes for homework and class preparation, more time may be needed for evaluations
