授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
The aims of this course are to promote critical thinking and to have extensive discussion about a variety of interesting and important contemporary issues. Students will learn the skills necessary for effective Group Discussions Furthermore, students will be taught how to prepare and lead a class presentation/discussion. The typical class will consist of small group discussions on a unit from the textbook to build vocabulary. Students will be required to study vocabulary regularly and will be exposed to authentic listening exercises in each unit. An eagerness to speak English and take responsibility for their own learning will be a bonus. |

Read and listen to the conversation for each unit before class. After each class, students must review and study the vocabulary section for that unit.Please note that because of the current Coronavirus situation, the syllabus is subject to change but students will be kept informed about any changes. |
