授業の目的?内容
/Course Objectives
Class Theme: Universal Values & Ethics I
This course is designed for students who are serious about wanting to communicate in English and express their opinions on various topics. The lesson discussion topics will mainly focus on Japanese issues but there will be an opportunity to include international topics
Students will be required to take part in the discussions and be willing to share their thoughts and ideas with others, while being respectful of the views of others.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
Each week, students will have an opportunity to discuss a different topic with a partner or within a group, and then share their ideas with the whole class. Students should prepare ideas & language in advance, and must be prepared to lead & contribute in English to these discussions.
In addition, during the semester, each class member will be expected to choose & present an opinion topic using visual aids, which will be an important element of the final grade.

Prepare discussion points, conduct prior research and make  a 5-10 minute visual presentation on a discussion topic of their choice.
