授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives |
実質的なエッセイライティングを学ぶ．1パラグラフ内の論理構成の技術をもとに，複数パラグラフによる文章構成法?変化の記述?原因-結果?説得?分類?対立意見の表現などの内容構成法におけるレポートやリサーチペーパー作成のための基礎練習を行う．このためにITを含む各種技法を学ぶ．このほか随時正書法上の重要事項を学習する．また，Criterionも利用する．Provides opportunities to develop extended skills in essay writing. Activities include writing reports and short research papers using structural principles in describing changes, stating cause and effect, convincing people, and expressing opinions. Emphasis is placed on the process of writing, as well as the product, by introducing various skills including IT. Orthographical skills are also taught. Students continue to use Criterion. | ||||||||||

授業の主要な使用言語は英語とする．学生も英語で参加することが求められる．また，課外の作文課題は原則として機械清書をして提出するものとする．受講者は課題毎の提出物?課題に対する反省などをまとめたポートフォリオを作成することが求められる．課題に関する指示は別途配布する書類を参照すること．The class is taught/participated in English as a major means of communication. The students are expected to type written assignments. Students must keep a portfolio for reflective learning. See a separate document for assignments. |

各回とも十分な予習?復習を必要とする．また，課題は必ず期限までに提出しなければならない．Requires sufficient review and preview of each class. Assignments must be submitted before the deadline. 【重要】初回授業の内容は授業ポートフォリオ Porta II で指示する．How to conduct the initial class will be instructed in the portfolio Porta II. また，遠隔授業に備えて教科書は事前に購入しておくこと．Prepare the textbook in advance for the remote learning. |
