□Content In this course, students will examine topics related to language and culture using various sources such as journal articles. □Reading & Discussion Read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities Express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations Write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation 700-1,000 words + bibliography Make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English. |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course |
In this course, we will... - use manaba for presenting learning materials, collecting assignments, and giving feedback. - periodically use Zoom to conduct bi-directional real-time classes. - provide opportunities of exchanging opinions among students by introducing group work and peer reviews of oral/written products. - aim at higher learning efficiency by utilizing learning materials distributed in advance in combination with real-time classes. |
