授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	We will develop one of your most important English communication skills: presentations. We will focus on the skills you need to communicate in academic settings, to make interesting and understandable presentations. You will have a chance to speak every week on Zoom, and to work on exercises to improve your presentation skills. Presentation skills are like every other skill, the more you practice, the better and the easier it will become. You can become as good as you wish to be. The world judges you every day on the way you present yourself - the way you sit, the way you stand, the way you dress, the way you speak. You are sending a message.  In this class you will have a chance to improve the way you speak.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	We will be doing this class on line. We will be using Manaba. Please go to Manba at Dokkyo University on line to begin this class on by Oct. 6. We will have our first zoom Oct.6 at 2:00 PM, information on the Manaba page. We will be having Zoom meetings every week. Check the class Manaba each week at the beginning of class for details. You will have 1 week to do your assignments. All assignments are due Monday night before the next class.
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students are expected to do their homework, prepare for Zoom activities, evaluations and exams outside of class and to speak actively in each class. And to prepare three formal presentations.
