This one-term required class allows second-year students the opportunity to take the initiative and be directly involved in their own learning, as well as the learning of their classmates, by preparing their own presentation and leading subsequent class discussion based on the chosen topic. Overall Objectives 1. To foster student responsibility by involving students more directly in the learning process 2. To teach students how to prepare presentations 3. To give all students the opportunity to give a presentation and lead class discussion |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course |
The amount of things discussed and studied may vary according to the pace of the students and current news issues examined.Because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic, the teacher’s age and underlying health concerns, this class will now be conducted through handouts and assignments set online through manaba. Unfortunately, the university will not allow Zoom classes on a weekday, thus there will be no face-to-face contact possible withthe teacher. Due to the nature of the study in this class, there are many opportunities for the students to discuss many issues with other class members. It is hoped that you will be able to find someone also attending the class and do lots of discussion with them through FaceTime, WhatsApp, Line or such like. Good luck with your studies. DON’T WORRY. YOU WILL NOT BE OVERLOADED WITH ASSIGNMENTS IN THIS CLASS. Every week, you will need to check manaba for the lesson handouts and the stuff you need to do. |
