This required class allows second-year students the opportunity to take the initiative and be directly involved in their own learning, as well as the learning of their classmates, by preparing their own presentation and leading subsequent class discussion based on the chosen topic. Overall Objectives 1. To foster student responsibility by involving students more directly in the learning process 2. To teach students how to prepare presentations 3. To give all students the opportunity to give a presentation and lead class discussion |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 /Teaching method and Attention the course |
This class endeavors to provide students with the tools to deliver effective presentations with confidence. Students will deliver multiple (individual and group) presentations throughout the term. This course is designed to be veryinteractive with strong student participation expected throughout the course. Presentation structure will be examined and practiced. Topics will then be introduced/discussed and students will be expected to design presentations based on these themes. By the end of this course, students will be able to deliver well-framed individual presentations and field questions from the audience. |
