授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This one-term required class teaches second-year students how to read more effectively and then presents them with the opportunity to share their ideas and opinions successfully in group and class discussions while working with topical subjects. Overall Objectives 1. To teach students the skills involved in effective group discussion 2. To improve reading comprehension skills using topical reading material 3. To develop verbal reasoning skills together with the ability and opportunity to communicate their thoughts related to the topics and readings provided |

We are planning on having face-to-face lessons at Dokkyo. If this is unavailable, we will switch to zoom lessons with handouts posted on PortaII website. In this case, some aspects of the syllabus will need to be changed, but the core concepts of the class will remain the same. |
