授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	Overall Objectives 1. To provide an overview of what constitutes a ‘good’ paragraph 2. To learn how to properly format a typed paragraph 3. To help students write about themselves and their experiences 4. To help students write clear, coherent and properly-structured paragraphs 5. To help students analyze and revise their writing 6. To help students become familiar with computer literacy and the use of Microsoft Word or Googledocs to create well-formatted documents.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Each chapter of the textbook will take three or four weeks to complete. Classes will begin with explanation of a particular aspect of good writing: grammar, vocabulary, style, and text organization. Students will then complete written exercises to consolidate their knowledge. Extensive writing exercises may be given in class or for homework.
