This class will be conducted entirely in English. There are two main sections to the class. The first involves a story-reading project which includes communicative activities related to the readings. (The reading material for the stories will come from graded readers that can be provided through the school library or the teacher.) There will also be a short presentation based on the story-reading project at the end of the term. The second section of the class introduces a variety of civics-based topics that are discussed after the students are given time to research and prepare written essays discussing their views of the issues. |
