For students who are interested transforming their thinking and quite possibly their lives, this class is ideal. We will be reading, studying and discussing together the book by the famous author Eckhart Tolle - The Power of Now This is an extremely influential book which has made a great contribution to personal growth and spirituality. Deep, life changing concepts are conveyed in fairly easy to understand, straight-forwarded terms. Students will learn a lot with this book, through our discussions and through associated video clips. Prepare to enjoy. class! This course is taught in English. |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 /Teaching method and Attention the course |
Students will be required to read and study new vocabulary from set chapters in the book before each class. This is essential in order to get the most benefit from each class. we will have group and pair discussions plus sessions on new vocabulary. The first portion of each class will be dedicated to discussion of reading assignments. The remainder of the class will be used for in-class assignments. The course will also feature short videos relevant to the contents of the set book. |

Evaluations will be made according to Class participation (20%) Homework assignments (20%), and Final Report (60%). Details will be explained by the instructor in the first class. |
