授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This one-semester course will offer students an opportunity to look at and produce creative writing. We will look at some examples of creative writing, considering the features of various genres and the benefits of writing creatively. The class will workshop students’ own pieces, refining and improving their style, while working towards a final piece of written work. |

This course will be conducted face-to-face. If circumstances connected to coronavirus worsen, the course content and methods may alter drastucally. The students will be encouraged to work independently and in groups to produce creative works. The class will use several varied activities to try to encourage creative thought and processes. Students will learn to develop a heightened awareness of their environment in and out of class in order to stimulate their thought processes towards creative composition. Feedback will be provided either face-to-face in class or through manaba, depending on the circumstances at the time. |
