授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
Students continue to practice writing unified, coherent paragraphs, which are the basic units of composition common to academic, business, professional, and general-purpose writing in English. Developing fluency and well-structured paragraphs is the main focus of this course However, students in Group C should also practice writing for accuracy at the same time. Overall Objectives 1. To teach the various patterns of paragraph /short essay organization 2. To help students learn how others organize ideas through peer review 3. To help students write clear, focused, and well organized paragraphs 4. To help students analyze their problems and revise their writing 5. To help students become familiar with computer literacy This course focuses on improving students’ "vocabulary," "grammar" and "writing" skills, as stated in DP 2. Overall objectives are for students to acquire the basics of "written productive skills," as stated in the CP. |

This semester we will cover chapters 6-10 in the textbook, spending three or four weeks on each. In order to become a good writer, it is important to write a lot. In this class, you will have plenty of opportunity to do that! | ||||||||||

In order to develop fluency and writing speed, students will keep a weekly writing journal in a B-5 notebook. Students will also be expected to complete various writing assignments in order to improve accuracy and to develop flexibility in expressing thoughts in writing. | ||||||||||
