授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives |
The primary aim of this course is to develop listening skills for academic purposes. Students will learn various listening strategies such as note-taking and recognizing lecture language and apply such strategies when listening to academic lectures on interesting topics. As pre-listening activities, students will be asked to complete vocabulary exercises and read short articles prior to the class. As post-listening activities, students will have chances to discuss the content of the lectures and give presentations. This course is suitable for students who are eager to develop academic listening and speaking skills, especially those who are interested in taking lectures in the context of studying abroad. |
