□Content The purpose of this course is to allow the students to engage in and explore a variety of current issues in society. □Reading & Discussion ?read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ?express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ?write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ?make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English. |

Due to the corona virus pandemic and the teacher's personal circumstances, this course will be conducted as an on-demand class. You must watch a class video each week to go with the supplied teaching material and work on your assignments. Please check manaba every week for notices. Please don't worry. You will not be overloaded with homework or assignments. A key part of this online seminar is to work diligently for 100 minutes each week.
