授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course focuses on improving students’ reading, listening and speaking skills. The overall objectives are: 1 To teach students the skills involved in effective group discussion. 2 To improve reading comprehension skills using topical reading material. 3 To develop verbal skills and the ability to communicate their thoughts on the topics discussed. |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 /Teaching method and Attention the course |
We will use a textbook to give us the input for discussion on a variety of topical subjects. The focus of the course is on communication so there will be supplementary materials to encourage students to speak in English. There will be written assignments to reinforce and consolidate the speaking activities. Please see Manaba in early April for the latest information on how to take the first class. |
