授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	Overall Objectives 1. To provide an overview of what constitutes a ‘good’ paragraph 2. To learn how to properly format a typed paragraph 3. To help students write about themselves and their experiences 4. To help students write clear, coherent and properly-structured paragraphs 5. To help students analyze and revise their writing 6. To help students become familiar with computer literacy and the use of Microsoft Word or Googledocs to create well-formatted documents. This course focuses on improving students’ "vocabulary," "grammar" and "writing" skills, as stated in DP 2. Overall objectives are for students to acquire the basics of "written productive skills," as stated in the CP. Googledocs to create well-formatted documents.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	This class is conducted solely in the classroom.  Chapters 1-7 of the textbook will be used in the spring semester and the chapters -14 will be in the fall semster.  Feedback will be provided to students in the form of  written comments from the teacher.  Peer editing is an aspect of this class.  Students are expeced to turn in homework and written work on time.
