This class will be conducted in English, and students are expected to speak in English with the instructor and with their classmates during the class time period. If you are having difficulties tell me as each student's experience of English is different. In class, students will participate in a variety of activities through pair work and groupwork. Listening and speaking in a second language require student to develop communication strategies and also acquire the language necessary to communicate through constant practice with the materials given to help you. Students work together in groups to prepare short performances before classmates and individually to prepare topics to share in pair work and group activities and discussions. Students will keep a reflection journal that will help them with the three reflection assignments for this course. |
