授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
Myths are a part of every culture in the world and are used to explain nature, the origin of people and the world, as well as explain why certain life events happen. Mythology has played an important role in every civilization throughout the world. In this course you will learn about Greek gods, warrior women, mythical creatures and tricksters, heroes and their adventures, mythical places and elements, as well as mythical language and idioms. The students will: understand the role of mythology in ancient Greece identify the effects of mythology on modern culture identify the main characteristics of myths identify the purposes of myths compare different myths. |
