授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
□Content Students learn the history of the English language. It is to discover the origins of the English language and how it evolved over time. Special attention will be paid to changes in grammar and vocabulary. □Reading/Listening & Discussion ?Read and listen to the materials in the textbook. ?Express one’s ideas and thoughts about the course topic constructively. □Writing & Presentations ?Write a research paper on the topic assigned by the instructor with appropriate citation (700-1,000 words + bibliography). ?Make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English. |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 /Teaching method and Attention the course |
This course assumes an interactive approach, which requires engaged participation from all members of the class. Also, students must write a research paper that weighs heavily for the final grade. Therefore, all writing courses (I-IV) must be satisfactorily completed before taking this course. Needless to say, regular and punctual attendance is expected and mandatory. #The schedule is subject to change on the needs of the class |
