授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
This course is expected to be held face-to-face on campus, unless conditions require that we switch to on-line learning.  In that case, classes will be held on Zoom each week and students are expected to actively participate and do so with their cameras on.  The course follows a pattern of introductory work on pre-reading and vocabulary development before any reading assignment, overview and discussion of text, group/pair/individual work and interactive activities related to the reading and/or audio visual lessons to extend the assigned reading and activate use of the vocabulary/subject matter associated with the reading. The course is conducted as a mixture of seminar-style lecture/discussion and interactive reading exchange opportunities.   Detailed feedback is given on assignments and quizzes are gone over to confirm answers.
事前?事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
Students will be required each week to complete the assigned reading and homework assignments in preparation for class participation. Students are expected to prepare for each class by reviewing the reading assignment/vocabulary.  Students are expected to go beyond the readings and conduct their own research and/or writing related to the reading assignments and other classroom/group activities.  Students are expected to complete all homework assignments in a timely manner.
