授業の目的?内容
/Course Objectives
Films of Steven Spielberg. This course will focus on the films of Steven Spielberg, examining the life and legacy of one of the most successful directors in American cinema history.

Spielberg’s works are closely linked with the rise of the Hollywood “blockbuster era”. They span genres and generations and provide an engaging lens into broader sociocultural and economic trends. Students will practice analyzing the themes, aesthetics, innovations and historic relevance of Spielberg’s films through screenings, in-class activities and small group discussions. Key assignments include short film reviews and a movie poster presentation.

This course focuses on improving students’ "listening" and "reading" skills and the "competence to think critically in English," as stated in DP, 2. Overall objectives are "to obtain a comprehensive English proficiency," as stated in the CP.
