授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
Course goals: • To familiarize students with the features and style of argumentative essay writing in English. • To practice timed essay writing skills needed for tests such as TOEFL and IELTS. • To learn to edit and revise your own writing, and give constructive feedback to your classmates. • To become more familiar with and confident using academic vocabulary. This course focuses on improving students’ "vocabulary," "grammar" and "writing" skills, as stated in DP 2. Overall objectives are for students to acquire the basics of "written productive skills," as stated in the CP. |

I believe that the best way for students to improve their writing is to practice writing a lot. Therefore we will spend a lot of time writing in class. Students will also do a lot of pair and group discussions to develop ideas and get feedback on their written work. | ||||||||||
