授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This class focuses on developing a range of English language skills (with an emphasis on communication) by applying practical communication strategies to help build on those linguistic skills learned by students in high school. Students will be given maximum opportunities to communicate, to build student confidence in interpersonal communication, and to core study skills needed to successfully carry out their four years of English study at this institution. |

In this semester, we will develop your group discussion skills by working on reading, understanding, and discussing content-based material of a topical nature from various media resources. Your instructor will be selecting the articles and preparing the assigned tasks and activities this semester. Assignment feedback will be provided in class on an ongoing basis. Students taking this class will need access to, and be familiar with, the use of Manaba. All classes will be held on campus in face to face classroom meetings. |

Instructions and weekly assignments will be given on our course Wiki and collected on Manaba. Students will be required to complete any assigned reading and homework assignments each week before participating in class. These assignments will be due the day before class on Manaba. | ||||||||||
