授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
Overall Objectives: 1. To give students practical experience in utilizing their own physical message by emphasizing the importance of eye contact, posture, gestures, voice volume, voice inflection, and facial expressions* when giving a presentation and facing an audience. 2. To give students experience in using visual representation within their presentation, with special emphasis on using charts and/ or graphs. 3. To build student confidence in speech communication in large and small contexts. 4. To help students develop a basic knowledge of organizing a speech and developing speech writing skills. |

This course focuses on improving students' fundamental presentation skills by focusing on their physical message, visual message, as well as content/ speech organizational skills. This one term, once a week, required course. There is no textbook for this course. Course material will be presented during instruction and as handouts, pdfs, etc. |
