授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course focusses on improving students' reading and writing skills specifically with regards to vocabulary, grammar and developing active reading strategies to allow students to engage with a text. The aim is for students to understand how argumentative (or persuasive) texts are structured and learn the fundamentals of English essay writing. | ||||||||||

We will analyse the structure and practise writing argumentative essays. Students will write two essays during the semester. Students will submit a first draft and a final copy of each essay. Students will be given written and/or verbal feedback for both draft copies and final copies of their essays. | ||||||||||

Students will be expected to not only acquire vocabulary and expressions but also find and analyse information from various forms of English media independently and complete weekly homework assignments. | ||||||||||
