授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course is designed to help students write a coherent paragraph, which is a necessary process in composing most forms of academic, business, professional and general-purpose writing in English. The course will focus on various aspects of good writing such as how to organize paragraph structures and use certain paragraph patterns. This course is conducted using a textbook or other materials selected by the instructor. Students enrolled in this course are expected to engage in various exercises and activities suggested by the instructor. This course is taught in English. |

In each class, a portion of the text will be studied. First, this text will be analyzed and questions will be answered. Then, we will review and check homework together. The remainder of class will be used to complete in-class assignments. | ||||||||||

Evaluations will be made according to participation (20%), quizzes/assignments (20%), and examinations (60%). Details will be explained by the instructor in the first class. | ||||||||||
