授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
Media English I is a course where students will continue to experience reading, writing, listening, and spoken language through the use of media covering a variety of situations. Different topics each week will provide a chance to encounter new vocabulary and ways of thinking about language. Students will then actively take part in discussions with classmates in class and through using online platforms. Outside of class, students will use e-learning or other materials and will be assessed on their grasp of language material. |

Students will engage with materials that provide the necessary elements that enable them to better take part in conversation in everyday situations in a variety of contexts. Evaluation and feedback will be delivered every 3-4 weeks, as based by the chapter/reading prompts covered in the course. Most (if not all) grading material will be delivered digitally through online means. Additional feedback may be requested at the discretion of the student if needed. Further explanation will be given during class session(s). 30% Participation and In-class Discussion Prompts 30% Discussion Assignments (Homework) 40% Essay/Video Project |
