授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	本学期においては特にアカデミックな内容を口頭で使いこなす基礎的能力を養う．アウトラインによる内容構成に基づいたプレゼンテーションスキルを学び，身近なテーマに関するプレゼンテーションの練習を行う．インフォーマル並びにフォーマルなスピーチの他，それらの内容に関する質疑応答の練習も行う．Provides opportunities to develop fundamental speaking production skills.  While both accuracy and fluency are to be pursued, a strong emphasis is placed on formulaic speech in spontaneous as well as prepared speech.  Activities shall be devised in order to lessen the load of monitoring structural accuracy, and to encourage concentrating on the content of the speech/discourse.  Students are expected to make short presentations on academic and daily topics.  The class is taught/participated in English. ［授業形式?方法と履修上の注意（下欄）追加］ 課題に対する評価（フィードバック）は口頭?個別書面?オンライン掲示板等諸種のコミュニケーションツールを用いて行う．The teacher’s feedback on the assignment tasks will be provided through various communication tools including oral instruction, written individual notice, and online bulletin board.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	本授業では (1) manaba を教材提示?課題回収?評言返送に用いる，(2) グループ学習等により学生同士の意見交換の機会を設ける，(3) 教員は授業に先立ち必要な教材を提供する． In this class we ... (1) use manaba (LMS) for presenting learning materials, collecting assignments, and giving feedback, (2) provide opportunities of exchanging opinions among students by introducing group work and peer reviews of oral/written products, and (3) distribute learning materials in advance in combination with real-time classes. 授業は英語で行われ，学生も英語で参加する．受講者は毎回の授業において積極的に発言すると共に内容に関する十分な準備をして臨むことが求められる．授業内にプレゼンテーションを行い，成績評価の対象とする．English is the means of communication including student to student interaction.  Students’ active commitment to the class as well as sufficient preparations for the topic issues is required.  In each unit an oral presentation is performed which counts for the grade.
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	各回とも十分な予習?復習を必要とする．また，課題は必ず期限までに提出しなければならない．Requires sufficient review and preview of each class.
