授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course aims to introduce an overview of the changes to Britain from the post war period to the present era through some essential black British writings. Focusing especially on the Caribbean and the South Asian communities, this class will take a close look at how Britain became a multicultural nation and the issues that have arisen from this process. This seminar is a great opportunity for students to learn about this topic, which is very much relevant even to this day as witnessed by the recent Black Lives Matter movements that are prevalent all over the world. The content of the course may differ and/or evolve depending on the student's interests and aptitude. | ||||||||||
