授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content Alternative Global Issues In this course, students will examine various contemporary issues such as food and environment, genres in modern music, entertainment in the modern world etc. □Reading & Discussion ?grasp some ideas in the articles in the texts ?write one’s opinions about the topic, and express it to the class □Writing & Presentations ?write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (700-1,000 words + bibliography) ?make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	A combination of an interactive lecture and active learning including group work, group discussions, and oral presentations.
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read textbook units or other assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper at the end of the term.
