授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This class will focus on practical listening skills for academic purposes. Emphasis will be placed on the use of strategies that will make you a better listener, a better note-taker, and a better learner. These skills will be useful, not just in English, but in any language and in ALL of your classes. While exploring interesting topics (such as gender, diet, and the environment), we will learn to listen for important lecture information and to take notes effectively. We will use information from real English lectures to hold discussions and give presentations. Evaluation will be based on class performance, tests, and examinations. |
