授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This class will focus on practical listening skills for academic purposes. Emphasis will be placed on the use of strategies that will make you a better listener, a better note-taker, and a better learner. These skills will be useful, not just in English, but in any language and in ALL of your classes. While exploring interesting topics (such as news, television, and the internationalization of English), we will learn to listen for important lecture information and to take notes effectively. We will have academic discussions based on information from real English lectures. Evaluation will be based on class performance, examinations, and presentations. |
