1. To continue to improve use of persuasive language and communicative skills (stating your opinion for or against an opinion in order to achieve your desired goal 2. To continue to improve reading comprehension by a critical analysis of texts 3. To make more advanced presentations with visual and multimedia techniques 4. To continue to become a more critical thinker to develop and present your ideas, opinions, and beliefs more persuasively. |

By using a varied mix of content-based materials, we will continue explore and think more critically about ideas, opinions, and beliefs to learn to recognize different perspectives and points of view. We will continue to learn to think critically in order build a more well-thought out argument related to a specific issue. We will practice speaking in order to learn to become more persuasive to an audience. There will be no required text as all materials will be given out in class. | ||||||||||
