授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course is designed for students to learn the history of international relations. Students will enhance the knowledge and the understanding of international relations through the studies of key events that occurred from the 16th century to the end of World War II. By assessing these key events, the course attempts to discover the roots of current issues related to international relations. 本講義は、英語学科の教育課程の編成?実施の方針(CP)や学位授与方針(DP)が示す「英語の運用能力を養成し、英語圏の言語?文学?文化?社会?国際関係などを理解するための専門知識を身につけた、国際的視野に立つ教養人を育成する」ことを目的とする講義である。また、グローバル社会コースの科目として「グローバル社会に関する専門的知識を修得し、背景事情や諸課題について的確に理解、分析し、自らの見解を効果的に表現する能力を身に付け」ることを目的とする。 |

授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 /Teaching method and Attention the course |
This course is taught in English. It is an ideal course for students who wish to learn aspects of international relations in English. Feedbacks will be given verbally and or in writing whenever deemed necessary. Porta II and University Web-Mail System will be used as the essential tools of communication. Students are expected to prepare an appropriate Internet environment to use these tools constantly. Including the first class, classes will be conducted in a face-to-face environment only. 科目の特性上、授業は対面形式のみで行います。履修の際は十分に注意してください。 |
