授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
The main purpose of this course is to help students write English sentences using correct grammar and develop their ability to construct paragraphs effectively. Furthermore, the course makes students aware of commonly made mistakes and introduces self-help strategies to analyze problems and revise their writing. Students will engage in various exercises and group activities to enhance their writing skills. Students will acquire foundational writing skills to construct clear and accurate paragraphs for various contexts. | ||||||||||

This course includes lectures, exercises, and group work, with feedback on assignments through explanations and comments. Each unit will be covered over two class sessions, allowing for a deeper understanding and practice of each topic. Both sessions will include short writing activities, with the first focusing on instruction and exercises, and the second emphasizing application, peer review, group activities, and continued writing practice. | ||||||||||

評価方法 /Evaluation |
?Classroom Participation (20%): Active participation in class discussions, group work, and peer review sessions will be evaluated. ?Assignments (40%): Various assignments will be given throughout the semester, including essay drafts, outlines, and sentence structure practice. ?Essays (40%): All essays must be submitted by the specified deadlines. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Proper citation and original writing are required in all essays. |
