授業の目的?内容 /Course Objectives |
This course aims to develop students' reading comprehension skills through engaging cultural topics. By analyzing a variety of texts, students will expand their vocabulary and refine their understanding of grammar in context. Additionally, they will learn to recognize and apply logical patterns used in academic and persuasive writing. Through guided discussions, students will further enhance their ability to articulate ideas and engage critically with the themes explored in the readings, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness. | ||||||||||

The course will be conducted in English. Students will receive weekly readings with accompanying comprehension questions. In class, they will review their answers in pairs, engage in thematic discussions in pairs or small groups, and examine key concepts necessary for the next assignment. These activities will be guided by the instructor. All readings will be selected from a variety of articles. | ||||||||||

Students will complete the assigned readings and answer targeted questions designed to enhance both their language proficiency and understanding of the subject matter. They will also be expected to come prepared to discuss topics based on the assigned questions. Twice during the semester, students will work in teams to deliver a presentation designed to deepen their understanding of the cultural themes explored in class. | ||||||||||
