授業の目的?内容
/Course Objectives
このコースでは、アカデミックなトピックに関する英語リスニング力の向上およびTOEIC 750レベルでもとめられるリスニング力およびノート?テイキング力を身につけることを目的とします。リスニング活動が中心となりますが、ユニットごとに口頭発表があります。また、事前?事後課題に加え、学期末テストがあります。
This course aims to improve English listening skills on academic topics and develop the listening and note-taking abilities required for a TOEIC score of 750. While listening activities will be the primary focus, oral presentations will also be required at the end of each unit. In addition to pre- and post-class assignments, a final exam will be given at the end of the term.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
本授業は、原則対面で行う。使用言語は英語である。受講生は購入した教科書を最初の授業に持ってくること。オンライン教材が授業で使用される場合は、学生はPCや電子機器を使用する可能性がある。授業でリスニング教材を使用する時に、教員の指示によっては、ヘッドホン?イヤホンの使用が必要になる場合がある。
The class will be held in person.
The medium of instruction will be English.
Students must purchase the course textbook and bring it to the first class.
As there are some suggested activities by the textbook that involve the use of online resources, students may have to use their individual PCs or other electronic devices to access such resources in class.
To listen to audio materials in class, students may need to prepare headphones or earphones individually. Students may do so upon request from their teacher.

事前?事後の課題として、教科書付随教材のunit test, profeciency assessmentなどが課せられる場合もある。
As part of the assessment, students will be asked to complate some tasks as homework before and after class. This may include, but is not limited to, unit test and proficiency assessment provided in the textbook resourses.
