授業の目的?内容
/Course Objectives
このコースでは英語でのディスカッション力をつけることに加え、クリティカル?シンキングの伸長を目的とします.毎回、事前学習としてディスカッショントピックに関するリーディングや語彙学習が課されます.また、事後学修としてクリティカル?シンキング項目の復習が課され、次週の授業冒頭で確認小テストがあります.ディスカッション?テストは1年次と同様、3回あります。This course aims not only to improve English discussion skills but also to develop critical thinking. Each lesson will include pre-class assignments, such as reading and vocabulary exercises related to the discussion topic, as well as post-class assignments focused on reviewing critical thinking concepts. A quiz will be administered at the beginning of the next class to assess understanding. There will be three discussion tests, as in the first year.

/Teaching method and Attention the course
本授業は、原則対面で行う. また、授業言語は原則英語です.
This class will, in principle, be conducted face-to-face. The medium of instruction will primarily be English.

第1回目の授業までに指定教科書を購入し、第1回目の授業に持ってくること.
Students must purchase the course textbook  and bring it to the first class.
事前?事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
当該授業の復習(Critical Thinking Skillsなど)に加え、次週のディスカッションの準備として教科書当該ユニットの3ページ目~6ページ目 (main reading, reading comprehension, vocabulary review, useful words and expressions, and listening)を行うこと.また、次週の授業冒頭で小テストがあります.Students are responsible for reviewing the class content (Critical Thinking Skills etc.) as well as completing assigned exercises (page 3 to 6 of each unit). A review quiz will be given at the beginning of each class.
