授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives |
本授業では、言語習得に関する英語テキストおよび研究論文の講読を通して、第一言語（母語）習得、第二言語学習者言語の特徴、第二言語習得（SLA）における年齢の影響、動機づけ、個人差、主要理論、ならびに英語教育への応用などについて体系的に学ぶ。これらに関わる諸問題を複眼的な視点から捉え、批判的に検討するとともに、受講者同士のディスカッションを通して理解を深めることを目的とする。 また本授業は、外国語学研究科の学位授与方針（DP）が掲げる「語学?文学?文化?外国語教育分野において、適切な問題設定を行い、必要な先行研究の成果やデータを収集?分析できる能力」を涵養すること、および教育課程の編成?実施方針（CP）が示す「語学?文学?文化?外国語教育分野における研究能力を高める」ことを念頭に置いて設計されている。 This course introduces key topics in language acquisition through the reading of English-language textbooks and research articles, including first language (L1) acquisition, characteristics of second language learner language, age effects in second language acquisition (SLA), individual differences, major theories, and applications to English language education. Students will critically examine these issues from multiple perspectives and deepen their understanding through class discussions. The course is designed in accordance with the Graduate School of Foreign Languages’ Diploma Policy (DP) and Curriculum Policy (CP), aiming to develop students’ ability to formulate research questions and to collect and analyze relevant prior research and data, thereby enhancing their research competence in the fields of language, literature, culture, and foreign language education. |

本授業では、受講者による発表とクラス全体でのディスカッションを中心に、英語テキストや研究論文を読み解く。受講者は、以下2種類の発表を行う予定（発表回数は、受講者数によって変わる場合がある）。 (1) テキストの発表×3回：担当箇所をPPTスライドにまとめ、クラス全体に講義をするつもりで発表する (2) 論文の発表x2回：自分が選んだ研究論文について批判的に読み、PPTスライドにまとめ発表する 発表や課題に対するフィードバックは、manabaを通して行う In this course, students will read and discuss texts and research articles through student presentations and whole-class discussions. Each student will give two types of presentations, with the number of presentations subject to change depending on class size. (1) Text presentations (3 times): Students will summarize their assigned sections in PPT slides and present them to the class. (2) Article presentations (2 times): Students will critically read a research article of their choice, prepare PPT slides, and present their analysis. Feedback on presentations and assignments will be provided through manaba. |

事前学修：各授業で取り扱うテキストや論文の対象箇所を事前に読む。発表者は、資料を作成すること。 事前学修：授業で学んだ内容について簡潔なリフレクション?レポートを書くこと。 ※事前?事後学修は、１授業につき２時間程度を想定しています。 Pre-class preparation: Students will read the assigned sections of the texts and research articles in advance. Presenters will prepare presentation materials. Post-class work: Students will write a brief reflection report on each class. *Approximately two hours of pre-class and post-class study are expected per class session. |
