獨協大学講師 専門／Theater Arts
Samuel Nfor holds a PhD in applied linguistics from The Technische Universit?t Darmstadt, Germany.
Prior to moving to Japan to study Noh, kyogen, and nihon-buyo on a scholarship from Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs, he practiced protest theatre and appeared in stage and television performances as an actor in his native Cameroon.
He has also performed on stage in Tokyo and taught English in Japan at various levels, employing many techniques from theatre. His research interests include Drama in Education (DiE), popular theatre, linguistic mediation, and intercultural communicative competence.
概要
This course aims to develop students' ability to discuss relevant issues in groups. Vocabulary and key expressions range from elementary to intermediate level will be used to engage in English discussions. Discussions will be facilitated by the teacher.
By the end of course, students will emerge as confident speakers.
