About Soka

Located in the southeast corner of Saitama Prefecture and sharing a southern border with the Metropolis of Tokyo, Soka City has prospered from its convenient railway links with central Tokyo. More than 250,000 people live in Soka City today, with over 4,500 foreign residents from some 80 countries calling it home. The Soka International Association helps foreign residents enjoy a comfortable life and promotes cultural exchanges through various festivals, such as the Soka Kokusai-mura Ichi-banchi International Festival and the Soka Shukuba Matsuri Festival.
