Accommodation

Wherever you are, it is always nice to have somewhere you can call home. Dokkyo University wants to ensure that its exchange students feel at home here in Japan, so it guarantees accommodation. Information on housing applications is provided in a timely manner.

Dokkyo University provides off-campus housing for exchange students, who will be required to live there during their term of study at Dokkyo University. The housing is an apartment building located near the university. Depending on the area and the size of the room, the rent varies from 58,000 yen to 70,000 yen per month, which includes utilities and Wi-Fi internet access. Meals are not included.

You will share a three-bedroom apartment with two other roommates.
Each bedroom is furnished with a desk, a bed and an air-conditioner. The shared area is equipped with a dining table, an air-conditioner, a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric kettle, a gas stove, and a washing machine.
The apartment building is a public residential building. It is not exclusively for students. You will need to follow the same rules as other residents. There is a mandatory online housing guidance by the apartment management company, where housing rules and how to pay rent, etc. are explained.

When assigning rooms, we try to accommodate preferences based on the availability of space, but we cannot guarantee that specific requests and preferences will always be met.
